OOC Board of Directors holds the 4th meeting this year
Yesterday morning, “Wednesday,” The Board of Directors of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) held the 4th meeting this year 2023 at OOC headquarters, headed by Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Zubair, OOC Chairman, who began the meeting with a welcome speech in which he thanked everyone for accepting the invitation and attending the meeting. Then, the meeting began with discussing a number of the main items on the agenda include adopting the minutes of the 3rd Board of Directors meeting, which was held on October 10, 2023. Aw well as reviewing the implemented decisions and recommendations issued from that meeting. The minutes of the 3rd meeting of OOC Executive Office, held on November 21, were also reviewed and approved.
The Board of Directors approved the financial statement submitted by Olympic Solidarity Committee to the sports federations and committees benefiting from the Olympic Solidarity programs for the period (2021 – 2024), which includes 5 programs represented by programs to support technical crews, administrative support programs for national Olympic committees and knowledge exchange, and programs to qualify players for the Games. In addition to programs to support Olympic values, and programs to develop the sports system.
The attendees reviewed the minutes of the meetings of sub-committees, represented by Oman Sports Medicine and Anti-Doping Committee, and Oman Athletes Committee, and they were approved.
The 4th meeting concluded with a review of many important topics that were included in the agenda, and other comments received from members of the Board of Directors, regarding which the necessary decisions were taken.
