Environmental and sports events in Al Buraimi

Oman Sport and Environment Committee with cooperation with Girl’s House Center organized environmental sport event in Omani Women Society headquarter in Buraimi where the women participants and their children were welcomed and the shirts and hats bearing the logo of OOC were distributed.

The event started with a running race for children, then young women and finally for mothers. The event also included a cycling, where a number of bicycles were provided for women to enjoy. Athletic competitions were held for children and adults, such as throwing ball and jumping the rope, in addition to zumba, and a gymnastics show. In addition to introducing the healthy dishes and to raise awareness about their importance and impacts.

Finally, Mohammed Al Sunaidi, Chairman of Oman Sport and Environment Committee, rewarded the winners of the competition. OOC also presented a commemorative shield to the organizers of Girl’s House Center
