The 1st semester of the Advanced Sports Management Diploma Program launched

 

Yesterday, “Sunday,” the 1st semester of the Advanced Sports Management Diploma Program for the year 2023, organized by Oman Olympic Committee (OOC), represented by Oman Olympic Academy (OOA), and in cooperation with the International Olympic Solidarity (IOS), kicked off with the participation of 26 students from sports institutions, under the patronage of Taha bin Sulaiman Al-Kishry, OOC Secretary General.

 

The program is presented by lecturer Hisham bin Salem Al-Adwani, the accredited director of the Advanced Sports Management Diploma Program from IOC. In the form of workshops that are held for three days per month in seven chapters by Olympic Solidarity, and the seventh chapter is devoted to presenting the studies and final projects of the participants and evaluating the general return of this program. IOC grants a diploma in the advanced sports management program after the study submitted by each student fulfills the conditions for submission and evaluation of the program director.

 

The 1st chapter lasts for 3 consecutive days, during which the axis of organizing the Olympic and sports institution will be discussed, and it includes many topics, including the impact of the environment on the sports institution, evaluating the organizational structure in the institution and the roles of its cadres, and evaluating the authority of the institution’s management, in addition to how to use technology and various information systems for the development of work, and methods of managing organizational changes.

 

It is worth noting that the Advanced Sports Management Diploma Program is one of the most important programs offered by IOS, because it contains modern skills and concepts for the legislative and executive leaders of sports institutions, and enables those who passed to register in the Master Executive Degree Program in Management of Sports Institutions (MEMOS), which is a program It is presented to the regional and continental Olympic committees with the support of the International Olympic Committee through Olympic Solidarity.
