OOC Secretary General meets Jaber Al-Shabibi

 

Taha bin Sulaiman Al-Kishry, Secretary General of the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) today morning, met in his office Jaber bin Muhammad Al-Shabibi, Vice-Chairman of Oman Bowling Committee, congratulating him on the occasion of obtaining a master’s degree in Olympic Studies (Olympic Education – Olympic Events Organizing and Management) at the Greek Peloponnese University.  The grants that OOC succeeded to get and which are supported by the International Olympic Solidarity (IOS), as part of the support and keenness of the Board of Directors to pay attention to human resources in institutions working in the field of sports and to provide training opportunities that enable them to manage the sports sectors in accordance with the best advanced management practices.

This program is considered as one of the many opportunities provided by International Olympic Solidarity (IOS) to the National Olympic Committees, as OOC was able in the previous period to obtain a number of academic and technical programs for members of sports Federations and Committees, which would provide sports institutions in the Sultanate with qualified sports cadres, knowledge and experience to Oman sports.
