Sports and Environment Committee participates in the mangrove planting campaign

Oman Sports and Environment Committee participated today, on November 4, in a campaign to cultivate mangrove trees, known locally as mangrove trees, in Khor Shinas, in cooperation with the Environment Authority, with the aim of increasing the areas of mangrove forests in Oman, as they are considered an endangered tree and an important home for many rare marine creatures that nest in it, as well as a transit station for birds, where the different seasons of the year witness the descent of a group of migratory birds that take a rest and complete their path.
