{"id":5541,"date":"2023-08-15T13:09:29","date_gmt":"2023-08-15T10:09:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ooc.om\/?p=5541"},"modified":"2023-08-15T13:09:29","modified_gmt":"2023-08-15T10:09:29","slug":"sub-committees-discuss-the-regulations-of-joint-gcc-action-in-the-sports-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ooc.om\/?p=5541","title":{"rendered":"Sub-Committees\u00a0discuss the regulations of joint GCC action in the sports field"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Sub-Committees\u00a0discuss the regulations of joint GCC action in the sports field<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the past two days, the 1st\u00a0meeting of the\u00a0Sub-Committees\u00a0of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and GCC NOCs\u00a0Heads\u00a0was held\u00a0in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, after it was recently formed which represented in Women&#8217;s Sports Committee,\u00a0Athletes Committee,\u00a0Paralympic Committee\u00a0and the Sports Committee, and Sports Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) was represented in the meetings by Sayyidah\u00a0Sana\u00a0Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairwoman of\u00a0Oman\u00a0Women&#8217;s Sports and Gender Equality Committee-\u00a0and Dr. Mansour\u00a0Sultan Al Touqi, OOC\u00a0Board\u00a0Member\u00a0&#8211; Chairman of Oman\u00a0Paralympic Committee,\u00a0and Asaad Mubarak Al-Hasani, Chairman of\u00a0Oman\u00a0Athletes\u00a0Committee,\u00a0and Dr. Amer\u00a0Humaid Al-Touqi, Director of the Sports Bodies Department at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth &#8211; Member of the Sports Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the meetings, decisions to form the four Sub-committees related to organizing and following-up joint sports work were reviewed, and the organizational structure and internal system of the joint work bodies in the sports field was reviewed, which clarifies the progress of work in implementing the plans, goals and policies set by Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Excellencies, GCC NOCs\u00a0heads. These bodies are the ministerial committees, the undersecretaries&#8217; committee, the technical committees, the Sports Arbitration Committees, and the General Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The tasks of the Sub-committees issued by the Executive Office\u00a0were reviewed, their terms of reference were discussed, and some observations were submitted to the office for study, opinion and approval, in addition to reviewing the regulations for joint work in the sports field and discussing some parts related to the regulations of the sports tournament.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that the Council of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Excellencies, GCC NOCs heads, adopted in its 34th\u00a0meeting held last October the decision to dissolve the organizing committees, and to form 4 Sub-committees for organizing and following up the joint sports action, represented by the Sports Committee, the Women\u2019s Sports Committee, and the Athletes\u2019 Committee.
