In light of this, several organizational, administrative and technical procedures were taken to achieve a qualitative and effective participation of the national teams to achieve the basic intermediate goals shared between Oman Olympic Committee and Sports Associations<span dir=\"RTL\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The regulations for participation depend on the qualification system according to the allocated quota to each continent or the world rankings. Beach national handball team was able to qualify by gaining the first place in the Asian Championship, and its qualification for this event is considered an achievement in itself as \u00a0competed with world elite teams (Brazil, Sweden, USA, Australia, Denmark)<span dir=\"RTL\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Swimming national team participation was via the swimmer Ayman Al Qasimi as participated in the 5 km race with the best swimmers from Germany, Russia, Italy, Brazil, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Mexico, Hungary, Austria, Serbia and Czech.
