Introduction to the Committee:<\/strong>
\nOman Skiing Sports Committee is dedicated to promoting skiing sports.<\/p>\n

\n– Said Ali Hassan Al Zaabi \u2013 Chairpman
\n– Qasim Talib Abdul Rahim Al Barai \u2013 Member
\n– Saud Nasser Said Al Oufi \u2013 Member
\n– Badr Nasser Suliman Al Khazri \u2013 Member
\n– Sultan bin Said bin Sultan Al Sinani \u2013 Secretary General<\/p>\n

Objectives of the Committee:<\/strong>
\n– To introduce Omani youth to the sport.
\n– To promote the sport within the athletic community.
\n– To establish strong teams capable of competing in GCC and Asian championships.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Achievements and Participation:<\/strong>
\n– GCC Championship in the UAE 2012 \u2013 2nd place
\n– GCC Championship in Kuwait 2014 \u2013 3rd place
\n– President’s Cup in the UAE 2014 \u2013 4th place
\n– Qatar Open Ice Hockey Championship 2014
\n– International Ice Hockey Federation Championship in Kuwait 2015
\n– GCC Championship in Qatar 2016 \u2013 4th place
\n– Hong Kong Championship 2016
\n– Bahrain Open Ice Hockey Championship 2016
\n– President’s Cup in Al Ain 2016
\n– The national ice hockey team secured 3rd place in the Ice Hockey Asia Cup held in Kuwait from April 22 to 29, 2017.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Future Vision:<\/strong>
\n– To establish a women’s team and youth teams for under 18, 15, and 12 years old.
\n– To prepare a technical and administrative staff for the sport.
\n– To certify coaches and referees internationally under the umbrella of the International Federation of the sport.
\n– To win the Ice Hockey Asia Cup.
\n– To promote ice hockey and encourage investment in building Olympic-standard ice rinks.<\/p>\n
