To achieve that there are few important rights and responsibilities to follow and put in mind listed below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Athletes are responsible to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>know and abide by the Anti-Doping Rules, policies, and practices.<\/li>\n<li>be available for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukad.org.uk\/athletes\/introduction-testing\">testing <\/a>at all times.<\/li>\n<li>take responsibility for what you ingest or use.<\/li>\n<li>Inform medical professionals that they should not use prohibited substances or methods, as per the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wada-ama.org\/en\/content\/what-is-prohibited\">WADA Prohibited List<\/a>,\u00a0and that any advice or treatment given to an athlete should not violate the Anti-Doping Rules.<\/li>\n<li>Inform OADC and your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukad.org.uk\/about\/how-anti-doping-governed\">International Federation<\/a>if you have committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation within the last 10 years.<\/li>\n<li>Co-operate in any doping investigations when asked to do so.<\/li>\n<li>disclose the identity of your support personnel upon request from an Anti-Doping Organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Athlete\u2019s Anti-Doping Rights Act:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Athletes\u2019 Anti-Doping Rights Act promotes athlete rights within Anti-Doping and ensures they are clearly outlined, accessible, and universally applicable. This act includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Equality of opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Equitable and fair testing programs.<\/li>\n<li>Medical treatment and protection of health rights.<\/li>\n<li>Right to justice.<\/li>\n<li>Right to accountability.<\/li>\n<li>Whistleblower rights.<\/li>\n<li>Right to education.<\/li>\n<li>Right to data protection.<\/li>\n<li>Rights to compensation.<\/li>\n<li>Protected persons rights.<\/li>\n<li>Rights during a sample collection session.<\/li>\n<li>Right to B sample analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Other rights and freedoms are not affected.<\/li>\n<li>Application and standing.<\/li>\n<li>Right to an Anti-Doping system free from corruption.<\/li>\n<li>Right to participate in governance and decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Right to legal aid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Athletes can only respect their sport and protect their legacy by competing clean.
