Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) participated in the Chefs de Mission Meeting for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (Riyadh 2026), held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 7 to 8 July 2026. OOC was represented at the meeting by Saeed bin Juma Al Harrasi, Chef de Mission of the Sultanate of Oman for the Games.

The meeting reviewed the latest organizational and technical preparations for the Games, with presentations providing an overview of the event, delegation accreditation procedures, visa arrangements, sports entry registration, arrival and departure operations, and operational plans for the management of the competitions.

The agenda also included presentations on the sports programme, competition venues, training facilities, services at the Athletes’ Village, National Olympic Committee Relations services, medical services, anti-doping programmes, services for Presidents and Secretaries General of National Olympic Committees, protocol arrangements, transportation plans, logistics, and media operations.

The meeting also featured dedicated sessions to address questions from the Chefs de Mission, in addition to bilateral meetings with the Organising Committee to discuss the requirements of the National Olympic Committees and review the procedures for registering delegations and submitting the required documents through the approved online platform.

The programme further included site visits to the Athletes’ Village, training facilities, and several competition venues, allowing participants to assess the readiness of the facilities and services that will be provided to participating delegations during the Games.

The meeting concluded with a workshop on delegation registration procedures, covering the completion of delegation members’ information, registration of athletes and officials, issuance of accreditation cards, and accommodation arrangements at the Athletes’ Village, ensuring that all organizational requirements are completed ahead of the Games.
