Education, Culture and Heritage Committee Organizes Drawing Competition to Promote the Upcoming Asian Games
The Education, Culture and Olympic Heritage Committee of the Oman Olympic Committee, with the support of the Olympic Council of Asia, organized the Asian Games Drawing Competition (Sport and Art) on 10 December at the headquarters of the Omani Olympic Academy, as part of the promotional activities for the Asian Games – Nagoya 2026.
The competition brought together art, drawing, and sport by using artistic expression as a tool to engage young people in sport and the Asian Games, while enhancing cultural awareness and developing their understanding of Olympic values.
The initiative aimed to link art with sport and highlight students’ talents in portraying the Asian Games and their cultural significance. It provided an excellent opportunity for elementary school students to express their imagination and understanding of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, as well as to show support for their favorite athletes or depict their preferred sports.
A judging panel composed of representatives from the Oman Olympic Committee, the Japanese Olympic Committee, and the Olympic Council of Asia selected the top four drawings—two by boys and two by girls. The winning artworks will be displayed during the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
