Secretary General of the Oman Olympic Committee Receives the Turkish Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports
Abdullah bin Mohammed Bamokhalif, Secretary General of the Oman Olympic Committee, received His Excellency Professor Halis Yunus Ersoz, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye, along with his accompanying delegation, at the Committee’s headquarters.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance sports cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye in areas of mutual interest, and explored prospects for partnership in athlete preparation and development programs, as well as the exchange of expertise in the sports sector.
The two sides emphasized the importance of expanding avenues of cooperation in a manner that serves youth aspirations and strengthens the presence of sport at regional and international levels. They also commended the depth of bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye, highlighting the role that sport can play in further reinforcing these relations.
The program also included a visit to the Omani Olympic Museum, during which the delegation was briefed on its most prominent exhibits and contents.
