Al-Busafi Participates in Communications Workshop in Switzerland
Ali bin Salim Al-Busafi, Acting CEO of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC), took part in the Communications Workshop organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland, with the participation of representatives from National Olympic Committees around the world.
The participation aimed to enhance the institutional efficiency of OOC and to develop its communication system as one of the key pillars supporting the Olympic Movement and serving athletes.
The workshop addressed several themes, most notably strategies for developing institutional communication and strengthening media presence for Olympic programs and events, in addition to improving tools for reputation management and digital communication in light of the rapid transformations taking place in the media sector.
Participants also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise among National Olympic Committees, thereby contributing to improving efficiency and expanding the presence of the Olympic Movement at both regional and international levels.
This workshop comes as part of the IOC’s efforts to support and empower National Olympic Committees by strengthening their institutional capacities and developing their media performance, in a way that reinforces their international presence and enhances their role in serving athletes and the sports community at large.
