About the Committee:
Oman Fencing Committee is composed of experienced individuals dedicated to the management and organization of the sport, with the aim of overseeing fencing activities and promoting the sport within Oman, in accordance with the public policies set by the ministry.

 

Objectives:
– To organize and manage all aspects of the sport, including administrative, financial, technical, and organizational matters, in line with the plans and programs approved by the ministry.
– To promote the sport and elevate its technical standards within the framework of applicable rules and regulations.
– To uphold international rules and principles of the sport and adhere to the provisions of the Olympic Charter.

Achievements and Participation:
The committee participated in the Fencing Union Championship for under 15 and under 20 categories for girls and boys, held in the United Arab Emirates from November 21 to 22, 2019. Harith bin Salem Al Harithi won first place in the épée event, while Israa bint Saif Al Siyabi secured third place in the foil event.
