Roles and Responsibilities of the Committee:

1. Representing Omani athletes and submitting their recommendations.
2. Conveying the views of Omani athletes regarding decisions made by sports federations, discussing them, and presenting them to Oman Olympic Committee if necessary.
3. Promoting Olympic culture among Omani athletes.
4. Educating Omani athletes about regulations and laws, particularly those issued by the International Olympic Committee or Oman Olympic Committee.
5. Nominating representatives from among Omani athletes for positions in associations and sports committees in Oman through the Secretary General of Oman Olympic Committee.
6. Nominating participants for external conferences, seminars, and sports courses through the Secretariat.
7. Meeting with Omani athletes who approach the committee, listening to them, and submitting any suggestions or opinions they provide to the Board after review.
8. Submitting recommendations for any activities or events that benefit Omani athletes.
9. Collaborating with associations and sports committees to represent and advocate for the rights and interests of national team players.
10. Monitoring the performance of athletes, particularly national team players, during training camps and matches, and presenting updates at committee meetings.
11. Undertaking any other tasks assigned to the committee by Oman Olympic Committee.
