National coach Mayar Al-Badri successfully completes the international coaching course in Hungary

Mayar Al-Badri, a national coach with Oman Handball Association, has successfully completed the international coaching course organized by the Hungarian University of Sports Science in collaboration with the International Olympic Solidarity in Budapest, Hungary. The course took place from April 1 to May 30, 2024.

This course is part of the programs supported by International Olympic Solidarity to support technical staff. The program witneses wide participation from technical experts in international training programs from various countries around the world in different sports disciplines.

The course included theoretical lectures and practical applications on general adaptation, sports injuries, ethics in sports, sports science, biomechanics in sports, sports sociology, physiological training, sports management, sports psychology, sports nutrition, and sports theories.

Oman Olympic Committee, through the Olympic Solidarity Department, has offered several training and qualification programs provided by International Olympic Solidarity as part of the 2021/2024 solidarity plan. These opportunities were made available via the Olympic Solidarity platform on the Oman Olympic Committee’s website to support the system of national coaches.
