OOC President meets with Taleb Al-Wahaibi and Pankaj Khimji

Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi, President of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC), received in his office today, Wednesday, Captain Talib bin Khamis Al Wahaibi, President of Oman Hockey Association (OHA), in the presence of Taha bin Sulaiman Al Koshary, OOC Secretary General.  OOC President congrats OHA on winning the host of the World Hockey Pentathlon, which will be held in 2024, after winning the confidence of the members of the Executive Office of the International Hockey Federation receiving 13 votes out of 16.

OOC President praised the great efforts made by OHA and the board members during the last period, which culminated in winning the host of this international event, stressing the keenness of OOC to fully support OHA for the success of hosting the event, and wishing the national hockey team all success in achieving the desired results in the tournament.

Moreover, the president met with Pankaj Khimji, President of Oman Cricket Club (OCC), at OCC headquarters in the Wilayat of Al Amerat yesterday evening, where they reviewed the status of the game in Oman and future plans for the development and spread within the framework of the future vision of Oman sports.
